Thinking about gridlock
And how unnecessary it is, if we expanded our public transportation and made use of more trains, and encouraged walking and biking, how much better life would be.
@vv yeah my gridlock is also unnecessary and I can think of a better way to.have people run trains on me
@vv Let's take the *classic* example of a city in love with cars: Los Angeles.
I and my wife are middle-aged, overweight people. Even in Los Angeles, we can get 95% of what we need on trains or on bikes. And live much better.
It's not just possible. It's shockingly easy.
