Remember kids; there is no propaganda in the west. It's only propaganda if it comes from the Propaganda region of the former USSR; everywhere else it's called sparkling advertising.

@birdy In the US people voluntarily line up and buy tickets to watch propaganda with titles like "Top Gun" and "The Avengers."
@erellsworth Or a variety of 80s cartoons that sold action figures and propaganda. I am not sure if they were more interested in selling the propaganda or the action figures. Or maybe there is functionally no difference.
It was quite an experience watching that era of US cartoons in India in the 90s, divorced from the actual things they were trying to sell (since none of the figures were actually being sold here.)
